I'm Diane Eggert, and I work with people to turn stormy seas into calm waters as they or their loved ones navigate the complexities of the healthcare system, insurance coverage, and financial decisions. And I do it to ease the burden on the patient and the loved ones, to avoid duplicate testing and miscommunication among healthcare providers, and to avoid mistakes that often result from people trying to do too much on their own, not understanding their medical situation, and rushing into decisions that can impact all aspects of the lives of everyone involved.
During my 30 years as a nurse, I specialized in critical care as a surgical trauma ICU nurse and neuroscience ICU nurse; emergency nursing at a level II trauma center, both adult and pediatric nursing; quality management, overseeing regulatory compliance to assure hospital activities met state, federal, and regulatory agency standards.
What you’ll get when you work with Anchor Healthcare Advocates:
- Ethical standards
- Guiding Principles
Customized, personal assistance with your best interest at the helm. Unlike Anchor Healthcare Advocates, patient advocates in a healthcare setting work for the provider or hospital. Their jobs are less about helping you and more about keeping their employer out of hot water. I work for you. Not the provider or the insurance company.
